Walking on TR1140 and motor stopped.

From what I can tell, the circuit breaker must have popped. I still have power to the display panel, but nothing happens when pressing the buttons. I've tried to reset the circuit breaker, but it just presses in and out, without any resistance, almost like the button is completely loose. It doesn't catch, stay in, or reset. Letting it sit overnight didn't help.

Proform crosswalk caliber treadmill, Belt slips causing the walking belt to stop while walking. I tightened the motor mounts so as to tighten the belt but still slips causing the walking belt to stop. Mortor seems strong enough to pull. There was allot of greese/oil on the underside of the belt. The motor spins, belt will slip while walking on it every now and then. reminds me of a loose alternator belt on a vehicle. Should I tighen the belt more or is the belt worn out

First you may want to try to locate the source of the grease/oil film and eliminate that problem. You'll need to wipe the entire belt inside with Naptha or another quick dry solvent. This type of unit will not operate correctly with any kind of slipppery film on the underside. When adjusting the belt you should be able to lift the belt at the center of the deck about 1.5 inches to 2.0 inches and no more. Also make sure you clean the drive roller and the idler roller in the same way. Thank you, Dana

In almost all treadmill error 1 denotes the speed sensor error. In you case I suspect there is some variation in the alignment of the speed sensor. May it moved away from the magnet Which is fixed on the rotating wheel. Try to make it closer as much as it can, be sure not to keep a small distance .hope it will solve the problem. The treadmill Proform 6.5q MC-2000 has been bought a long time ago. It doesn't work from the beginning. Due to to the lack of time we did not call a customer serves when a guaranty was still valid.. As I assumed that you have experience with the mentioned device could you please give me advice on the following issue. Power on - all LEDs are Dark. Inserting the safety key- 15 V and HV BUSS are lit. Setting the first speed - motor is starting moving the belt slowly.. Randomly the GATE LED flashes shortly and motor stops. It can be just after the start of if I try to step on the belt. Putting speed control to the reset position (left) - 15 V and HV BUSS are lit. I can start again. If I try to set a high speed - SPD SIG is lit according to speed input changes. GATE LED flashes once shortly and the motor stops just after his start. I am sorry for my English. Do you have any ideas what can be damaged? Best regards, Ihor

Hello, Check the reed switch, located next to the front drive pully. The switch needs to be about 1/8 inch away from the pully. This should do the trick. Matt

I just bought a secondhand treadmill a few weeks ago. i noticed that while i was mid-walk, the treadmill would just stop for no apparent reason. and then about a week ago, the treadmill matt stopped moving all together. i have read the manual and it says that the treadmill shouldnt be connected to an extension lead and/or shouldnt be shared with other appliances such as computers, tvs, etc. i actually did have the treadmill connected to an extension lead (because i had the treadmill too far away from a power point) and moved it to plug it directly into a power point. but the matt still wont move. the screen still works and it beeps and everything- the matt just wont move.... any tips on what might be wrong and how i can fix it?

The motor controller is shot and will need replaced.

My C2255 will start rotating for a second and then cut off. I figured it was an overcurrent problem, so I pulled the drive motor and took it to an electric shop, and they verified the motor was bad. I got a replacement drive motor and installed it, and the problem still happens: The treadmill turns on, starts briefly, loud surge as the belt spins WAY fast, and then immediately shuts off again (power remains to console, just the motor stops). I have removed the idler arm spring to make sure there isn't undue resistance from the walking belt, and it does the same thing, just turns on and shuts off. So, I am wondering what else could be causing this? Could it be a controller malfunction?

If the console works fine then it's a controller malfunction, yes. The microcontroller responsible with the voltage regulation for the motor is not working properly so that needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, you can't change only that module since it's welded in the mainboard.
