When I am walking at an incline the treadmill speeds up. Can you tell me why. I have a Proform 625. PFTL62510KD. Where can I get a book for this treadmill?

I just got this treadmill from a friend at work. She had it about 2 years and already had replaced the motor in it. Her son never used it after the motor replacement and hardly had used it before that. When I used it for the first time at my home after about 1-2 minutes the speed will change and sometimes come to a complete stop. Yes it is hooked up with a surge protector and the belt is not to tight. Do you have any suggestions on what the problem might be?

Most of the time its caused from not lubricating between the treadmill belt and deck. This causes friction and the surfaces wear putting greater stress on the electronics. The treadmill is shutting down to protect the electronics.
