Ipod dock i plug my ipod in but the speakers are not working

I had this problem too. the thing is when you plug the USB cord into it that just charges your ipod. you have to buy a cord that goes into the headphone hole and the other side plugs into the hole beside the USB slot on the treadmill. i got mine at Radioshack. so once you buy that the speakers will play your music and you can charge your ipod at the same time. =)

My proform weight loss xp 620 was folded up and i do not remember how to unfold it for use. I attempted to follow the directions on one website that said to pull the knob underneath to the left and slowly lower however that did not work at all. So, I dont know what to do at this point. All help appreciated and thanks a bunch.

I just purchased a Pro-Form 705 Treadmill (model # PFTL70009.0, serial # BB210160354) and ran into a problem when assembling it. The Ground wire (part # 109) is supposed to connect to a wire coming out of the console (step #11 in the manual). However, there is no wire coming out of the console. I finished the assembly and the treadmill seems to work fine without the ground attached, but I am worried about the risk of electrical shocks to the console or circuit board. Any suggestions or comments on what I should do? The customer care line was of no help.

Hi.i have just read the manual and it does appear to show an actual wire coming from the console.have a look to see if there is a socket in the console that the ground wire could be plugged into, as the design may have been slightly changed without the instructions being updated. if you have bought this new rather than second hand, then i would recommend getting in touch with the manufacturer again as they will have details of any modifications, or they can assist if the wire is missing and arrange replacement parts.the treadmill may work fine, but you are right to be concerned about shock risk without the proper ground wires. a rubber/nylon belt and a metal frame is likely to create static electricity which could well damage the electronic components. the manufcturers may also say that the warrany is void if you have not followed the instructions properly, even though it was through no fault of yours.if you have no luck with customer care you are within your rights to take the treadmill back for exchange or refund. this would be a far safer option that using a treadmill with incorrect grounding.

I have apro/form 620 electric treadmill starts working then suddenley stops

Most of the time its caused from not lubricating between the treadmill belt and deck. This causes friction and the surfaces wear putting greater stress on the electronics. The treadmill is shutting down to protect the electronics.
